The Igreja de São João Baptista (Church of St. John the Baptist) is a 15th-century church in the heart of Tomar. Built by Manuel I, the church contains black-and-white diamond mosaics and a white-and-gold Baroque altar. A chapel to the right of the nave is faced with antique tiles.
