Detail of the Last Judgment Tympanum (1107-1125) over the west door. An angel takes a redeemed soul by the hand, who seems to have just barely made it into heaven, and leads him towards the heavenly gates on the left. The angel's gaze is directed at a demon across the divide from hell.
