Women arrive at the tomb with spices, only to find it empty. An angel in the tomb announces: "He is not here, he has risen." The Roman soldiers sent to guard the tomb sleep below. Detail of the Passion Window, the left lancet window (as seen from the inside) beneath the west rose. One of only four windows dating from before 1150, it depicts scenes from the end of Christ's life, his passion and his resurrection.
