Completed in 2000, the Cochabamba Bolivia Mormon Temple is the 82nd operating Mormon temple.

Made of granite and plaster, the temple has a sleek, modern design intended to reflect the Bolivian culture. It stands on a 6.67-acre site and has an area of 33,302 square feet. Inside are two ordinance rooms and two sealing rooms.

The Cochabamba Bolivia Temple (as it is officially named) was dedicated on April 30, 2000, by LDS president Gordon B. Hinckley.

Only Mormons with a temple recommend (an official LDS document) may enter the temple. Temple rituals are conducted in Spanish, Quechua and Aymara.
